Would you like to re-pledge your love for your other half, maybe mark a significant wedding anniversary or you would just like a very good reason to get all your family and friends together in the name of love?

A renewal of vows ceremony is a special moment where you celebrate your relationship and what you mean to each other. Renewing your vows is not a legal act and therefore doesn’t require any legal authority (registrar/minister).

Often landmark anniversaries are chosen e.g. 10 years, 25 years but there is no rule on this. Perhaps your original wedding ceremony didn’t go according to plan so you would like to revisit it or maybe you would like more of your family or your children involved this time around.

The ceremony can take place pretty much anywhere (with the landowner’s permission) so in your own garden, a village hall, hotel, castle, community centre, on a beach or in your favourite pub!

As your celebrant I will write a personal and unique ceremony that can include music, poems, readings and the all important vows. You may wish to re-pledge your original vows, update them or have completely new ones. I can help you write and plan those so they are perfect for what you would like to say at this moment in your lives.

Some people like their renewal of vows to be like a wedding with an aisle, being given away etc and we can tailor your ceremony accordingly. The joy of a celebrant-led renewal of vows ceremony is that it can be whatever you want it to be and it would be my pleasure to work with you to create that. Anything is possible!
