As always, I want to send my love and strength to all of the families and clients that I have supported this year as a funeral celebrant. It has been an honour to be alongside you and I will be thinking of you all as you face your first Christmas without those special people in your lives.

To the lovely couples who asked me to be their wedding celebrant this year – thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!

It has also been a real joy to conduct naming ceremonies this year – celebrating new life and the love of those around them, something we couldn’t do during the pandemic.

To the funeral directors who have asked me to take ceremonies for them, a huge thank you. I very much respect your care and professionalism and continue to learn from you.

I have now been a full-time celebrant for two years and I can honestly say it is the most rewarding job I have ever done (and I have had several jobs in my time)!

At funerals people often say “nice to see you but I hope I don’t see you again too soon”. I understand that sentiment completely but please be assured I will be here if you ever need me.

Wishing you love and comfort this Christmas.
